Procrastination and snails

I’ve got a terrible case of artist’s block at the moment. I got so much done this weekend but did’t quite finished two of my commissions. It’s incredibly frustrating but I don’t want to force or rush them or I will mess them up. It is definitely the downside of commissions and the primary reason I wont take payment for pieces until completion.

Aside from the annoyance of three half-finished canvases staring at me, life is great! Work is very busy, especially with shooting to meetings every 5mins, but I’m really getting into my new role. I’m very much looking forward to the launch of Splinter Cell: Conviction, partially due to really wanting to play it, and partially because it will have been the first game I’ve worked on in PR.

Finally, I’ve got another two additions to my ever-growing personal petting zoo. This time it’s a pair of Giant African Land Snails (Achatina fulica). They’re lovely I named them Rhea and Cronos. There is no particular reason behind the naming other than I love mythology and those are my two favourite Titans. They’re only babies so they will get quite a bit bigger. Have some pics!
